The Beavers got off to another shaky start this morning but, battled hard and moved up one spot to ninth position when it was all said and done. Casey King, after a night of puking, got up this morning on a mission to play well and did just that. Casey made four birdies today, on a day where birdies were hard to come by and shot one under par 69 to lead the Beavers. Alex Moore is also having a consistent tournament. Alex birdied two out of his last three holes to rally and shoot even par.
After the round of golf, the team had the afternoon off to do as they will. Some of us went down to the basketball court and showed off our skills in a game of twenty-one. Alex Moore all of 5 foot 8 inches in physical form thinks he is 6 foot 5 inches in his mind so every time he tried to come inside and dunk he got his weak stuff sent to the bleachers. David Fink and Jeff Petroff went down to the Newport Beach and took a stroll on the boardwalk in the sun. After the afternoon was concluded we all went to a nice romantic team Valentine’s Day dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. After dinner we had a team meeting to talk about tomorrow’s pin placements and strategy. To finish the night we went back to our rooms to pack and get ready for tomorrow’s final round and day of travel.
